Here are the guidelines we'll be using at Get Free as borrowed from Dance Lab NYC.
1. No talking on the dance floor.
2. Drug-free, smoke-free, alcohol free environment
3. Cell phones muted and out of sight
4. Care/Awareness for the space of each other
5. Move your body however you wish
6. You can dance alone or with as many partners as (you) like to joining. If you'd rather not dance with somebody, thank them for the offer by placing your hands in prayer position at your heart "namaste".
One Sol is a program of Sol Vida Worldwide , dedicated to shifting normalcy through transformative dance and wellness experiences online and across the globe.
This is the inaugural year of One Sol.
All dances have been choreographed to the theme, "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised," as gifted to us from Gil Scott-Heron.
One of the greatest acts of revolution is radical self-love and care. These dancers have spent five days together taking risks, breaking bread, creating work, and restoring the wells with master classes, choreo labs, radical self-love rituals, and conscious connections workshops.
May this project ripple into the universe and inspire free expression, embodiment, truth telling, and collaboration vs competition. May everyone here and now forever know and believe... YOU ARE A DANCER!!!
